Realistic art for preference; abstract can work sometimes, but in general I like things to look like the things they're supposed to be like! Save the abstract for design.

Sure, I'm quite the dedicated follower of fashion -- the blue jeans, pink gingham shirt, brown brogues, and scruffy hair are as cutting edge now as they have been for the last decade that my personal style has remained unchanged for.
Polo shirt? Of course. Pop that collar? I don't think so.
But, for random reasons, I find fashion, and the fashion industry, fascinating -- it's quite different to most other industries in that, first and foremost, it has to create consumption.
